Alex Bischoff pitched his first career varsity no-hitter on Friday in a 6 inning, 10-0 win at South Dearborn. Despite getting hit by a pitch in his pitching arm in the top of the 1st, Bischoff managed to hold SD hitless over 6 innings, with just 3 Knights reaching base via walks. Offensively, FC jumped out front 4-0 after the top of the 1st before scoring 4 runs in the 6th to reach the 10-0 final score. Brennan Meyers led with 3 hits on the night, while Augustus Runyon led with 3 RBI’s and Ben Krider had 2 RBI’s.
FC will take on Greensburg next, with Greensburg visiting FC on Monday with a first pitch of 5:30.
