The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory until 11 pm Thursday for portions of central, east-central, north-central, and west-central Indiana which includes Decatur, Franklin, and Union Counties.
Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
The strongest winds are expected between 1 pm and 8 pm. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Take caution to secure outdoor objects.
