Wendell L. “Tiny” Russell age 73 of West Harrison, Indiana passed away at his home Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Born February 11, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Homer Russell and Zella (nee:King) Russell.
Wendell married Bonnie Jean Grimes on August 3, 1968 in Harrison, Ohio. A graduated from North Dearborn High School in 1962, worked as a Union Carpenter with the local #1142 Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was a life long outdoorsman, loved to play golf, fishing and enjoyed repairing antique radio’s, He was masterful when it came to woodworking, but most of all he really loved to enjoy his family.
Wendell is survived by his beloved wife Jean Russell of West Harrison, Indiana. Father of Shawn (Sara) Russell of Upland, Indiana and Kasey (Jeffery) Collins of West Harrison, Indiana. Pappy to Shelby, Lane and Ellis. Brother of Linda (Tom) Rumple and Donna (Larry) Whitham both of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 7, 2017 11:00 AM all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home Harrison, Ohio with Larry Whitham officiating.
