Weldon Chase “Jack” Willey, Jr., 70, of Dugger, Indiana passed away at 7:15 AM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Oak Villages Nursing Home in Oaktown, Indiana. He was born on November 22, 1953 in Gary, Indiana the son of Weldon C. Wiley and Helen L. (Kephart) Willey. Weldon “Jack” lived in Westport for many years where he raised his families. He retired from Print Pack in Greensburg. His favorite of late was to play the lottery scratch off with his sister, Brenda on a nightly basis. Weldon was married to Pamela Sue Benham on July 28, 1972 and she preceded him in death. They were blessed with four children who survive, Misty Dawn Willey, Weldon C. Willey, III, Helen Ruth Willey and Jason Leroy Willey. Weldon was also married to Margaret Taylor on February 11, 1989. He is survived by two step-daughters, Amy M. Merritt (Timothy J.) Hobbs, Kimberly S. Merritt (Kevin) Smith; sisters, Carolyn S. (Willey) Stahl, Brenda J. (Willey) Rucker, Wanda L. (Willey) Chandler, Janet A. (Willey) (Raymond) Richmond; brother James M.(Geneva D.) Willey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; both of his wives; his sister, Charlotte Zimmerman; his brothers, Thomas K. Willey and William A. Willey. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Todd Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rockcreek Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
