(Versailles, IN) – Larry W. Webster II is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Ripley Circuit Court on Monday before Judge Ryan King.
The 46-year-old Webster is charged with Level 1 felony Attempted Murder and Being a Habitual Offender in connection with the November 19, 2025 attack on Indiana State Police Sergeant David Meyer.
Webster is accused of attacking Sgt. Meyer during a law enforcement encounter in Ripley County in which the state trooper suffered injuries that required major surgery.
In addition, Webster faces similar Attempted Murder and Habitual Offender charges in Jefferson County stemming from the same series of events last fall.
