Webster Held on $5M Bond

Larry W. Webster II.

(Versailles, IN) – Bond has been set at $5 million for Larry W. Webster II.

He’s charged with Attempted Murder and Being a Habitual Offender after he allegedly seriously injured Indiana State Police Sergeant David Meyer during an attack last November in southern Ripley County.

Sgt. Meyer sustained injuries that required major surgery.

The 46-year-old Webster made his initial appearance in Ripley Circuit Court this week before Judge Ryan King.

A September trial date was set for Webster, who faces similar Attempted Murder and Habitual Offender charges in Jefferson County stemming from the same series of events last fall.
