(Decatur County, IN) – A water main break Friday morning in southern Decatur County forced classes to be canceled at South Decatur Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School.
The closing did not affect North Decatur Elementary or Junior/Senior high.
South Decatur was initially on a two-hour delay, but once it was determined that water would not be restored by 10 a.m., school at the home of the Cougars was called off.
It was not E-learning day.
Decatur County Community Schools will announce if Friday’s canceled classes will need to be made up after consulting with the Indiana Department of Education.
