Wanda Agnes Heaton, 88, of Greensburg passed away peacefully with her family beside her on November 8, 2024. She was born on February 4, 1936 in Flat Rock, Indiana the daughter of Ralph and Mary Beatty Woodhull. Wanda was a 1954 graduate of Sandusky High School. She married Clarence “Pancake” Heaton on April 21, 1957 and together they had six children: Doug, Brian, Marc, Bruce, Cyndi and Karen. Wanda was a wonderful baker and was most well known for her pies at Stories Restaurant and Trackside Cafe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Home Ec Club.
Survivors include her beloved cat, Blackie; sons, Doug (Kathy) of Berthoud, CO., Brian (Natalie) of Brooksville, Florida, Marc of Seymour, and Bruce of Osgood; daughters, Cyndi (Michael) Rothman of Windsor, CO. and Karen (Greg) Marshall of Avon; grandchildren, Jacob, Travis, and Spencer Heaton, Natasha Leslie, Stephanie Cresswell and Matt Heaton, Olivia Vogel, Trevor, Gannon, Kaitlyn Rothman, Brooke and Taylor Heaton, Dakota, Dalton, and Savanna Marshall; great-grandsons, Sawyer and Riley Heaton, Judd and Jaxxon Heaton, Tatum Cresswell; great-granddaughters, Jemma Heaton, Whitley and Winsley Heaton, Natalie Leslie, Paislee Rothman, Isabella Dahl, Adalynn Marshall and coming soon Baby Girl Rothman; siblings, Wayne (Alice) Woodhull, and Faye Zeigler; sister in laws, Joan Woodhull and Elvira Woodhull. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, and siblings, Charlotte Woodhull, Charles Woodhull, Ray Woodhull and Lawrence Woodhull.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 and will be broadcast live on the Gilliland-Howe Facebook Page. Pastor Cliff Bunch will be officiating.
