Vivian L. Hundley – Metamora

Vivian L. Hundley, of Metamora, was born on February 29, 1932 in Franklin County, Indiana, the daughter of Edmund and Maude Hammons Carlton.  She married Edward Hundley on September 17, 1949 in Island City, Kentucky and he survives.  Family was very important to Vivian and she was a great homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved going to Florida.  On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the age of 86, Vivian passed away at her residence surrounded by her family.

 

Those surviving who will cherish Vivian’s memory include her husband of over 68 years, Edward Hundley; children, Brenda Hundley (Cecil Abshear) of Brookville, Vickie Hundley (Larry Lomeli) of Metamora, Judy Hundley of Metamora, Gary (Sonya) Hundley of Laurel, Debra Hundley Isaacs; sisters, Louise Cummins of New Point, Shirley Cummins of Laurel, and Linda Nunn of Glenwood, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Roy, Larry and Robert Hundley; one grandchild Karisa Daniels; one great-grandchild, Harley West, and a brother, Arnold Carlton.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 27, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Services, officiated by brother-in-law, Handsford Hundley will be on Saturday at the funeral home at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
