Virginia (Barrett) Anderson, 71, of Moores Hill passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side. Virginia was born on Sunday, November 23, 1952, in Milan; daughter of Jesse and Rebecca (Jones) Barrett. Virginia married the love of her life, Lloyd Melvin Anderson, on August 4, 1973, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2022. Virginia enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family.
Virginia will be missed by her daughter Amanda Anderson of Moores Hill; brother Benjamin (Judy) Barrett of Moores Hill; sisters Janet (Windel) Mays of Connersville, Lorrine Hampton of Moores Hill, Peggy Baker of Massachusetts, and Juanita Light of Salvisa, Kentucky; as well as may nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Rebecca Barrett; husband Lloyd Anderson; sisters Geneva Cox and Roberta Hensley; brothers Allen and Wayne Barrett; and several aunts and uncles.
There are no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Virginia to Moores Hill EMS.
