Victoria Renee Grider Johnson-33, of Martinsville

Victoria Renee Grider Johnson, 33, of Martinsville, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Martinsville. She was born on April 10, 1991, in Greensburg, the daughter of Jonathan Paul Sr. & Deanna Dawn (Harris) Grider. She was raised in Westport and resided most of her life in Decatur County. Victoria was a 2009 graduate of South Decatur High School and attended the Westport Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed running marathons, working out and spending time with her kids. She is survived by her father, Jonathan (Amanda) Grider, Sr. of Greensburg; her mother, Deanna Grider of Greensburg; Victoria’s partner, Dondi Strahla of Martinsville; her grandmother, Dottie Jean Harris of Greensburg; her sons, Elijah Donovan Colin-Diaz of Edinburgh and Daxton Oliver Hayes Johnson; her sister, Stephanie Ray (Dawson Wolfe) of Greensburg; her step-sisters, Brianna (Cory) Hunter of Moores Hill and Destinee Vanderpohl (Devon Black) of Greensburg; her brother, Jonathan Grider, Jr. (Fiancé, Brianna Kelsey) of Hope and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beverly and Bill Grider and Leo Harris. The funeral will be conducted on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Westport Wesleyan Church with cremation to follow. Pastor Jeff Moore will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the Westport Wesleyan Church. The Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
