Dupont, IN — The victim of a deadly shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in rural Jefferson County has been identified.
Indiana State Police say 35-year-old Dustin B. Lindner of Georgetown, KY was found dead in the yard of a home on John Deere Road in the Dupont area just after 4 am Tuesday.
His body was found when Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene after receiving a report of gunshots fired in the area.
State Police say no arrests have been made, and that the investigation is ongoing.
