Vicky Sue Lauber – Osgood

Vicky Sue Lauber, of Osgood, was born on February 9, 1953 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Kenneth Robert and Willa Jane Hurst Hale.  She married Daniel Lauber on October 14, 1978 in Sunman at St. John Lutheran Church-Hubbells Corner.  Vicky Sue was a speech therapist and a member of St. John Lutheran Church.  She was also a member of the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association and the Midstates Mule and Donkey Show Society. Vicky Sue’s favorite past time was showing and training her mules and donkeys.   On Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 65, she passed away at her residence.

 

Those surviving who will cherish Vicky Sue’s memory include her husband of over 39 years, Dan Lauber; 3 aunts and several nieces and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Luke Hale.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3 until 6 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman and again on Monday from 9 until 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church-Hubbells Corner.  Rev. Ladona Webb will officiate the service at 10 a.m. at the church and burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery.
