(Milan, IN) – A local veterans’ organization is out with a scam alert.
Milan American Legion Post #235 says scam artists are commenting on its social media post about the organization’s annual raffle.
The legion says none of its members send raffle tickets electronically, and they don’t ask for electronic payments.
The only way to purchase tickets is by stopping by the legion or directly from a Milan Sons of the American Legion member.
