(Versailles, IN) – Contractors will begin milling certain streets in Versailles on Wednesday, October 2 as part of the town’s Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG).
Handicap ramp installation and sidewalk improvements were completed in September.
According to town officials, the following streets will be repaved:
– Fern Drive from Tanglewood to the dead end;
– Floyd Avenue from Fern Drive to the dead end;
– Tanglewood Road from Colvin Drive to South High Street;
– Water Street from High Street to Adams Street;
– 2nd North Street from Adams Street to Washington Street.
Versailles received a Community Crossings grant in Round 1 of 2024 for $275,199, with the town’s match at $91,733.
The total project cost is $366,932.
