(Versailles, IN) – Versailles firefighters were called to the Tyson School Apartments Sunday evening when someone became trapped in the elevator.
A man was trapped between the second and third floors of the building until firefighters reached the elevator’s passenger car and safely rescued him.
Firefighters stayed on the scene until the elevator repair company arrived since a number of elderly and disabled people live in the building.
