(Versailles, IN) – Eighteen Indiana State Parks will close for four days this month to allow for controlled deer management hunts.
One of those locations is Versailles State Park, which will be closed on Monday, November 13, and Tuesday, November 14, and on November 27 and 28.
The park will close to the public at 8 pm on November 12 and 26, and reopen on the 15th and 29th.
Indiana DNR says the goal of the controlled hunts is to manage the impact on the parks from deer browsing.
