Verna “Jeanie” Beesley, age 93, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Brookville Health Care Center in Brookville, Indiana. Born January 13, 1926 in Cedar Grove, Indiana the daughter of Glenn and Carrie (Mire) Beesley.
Jeanie worked many years at US Shoe in Harrison, Ohio, but most of all she loved to be outdoors working along side her parents on the farm.
Survived by her sisters Hazel Schuck of Oxford, Ohio, Glenna Beesley of Brookville, Indiana and Bonnie (Larry) Cochran of Bright, Indiana. Jeanie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her parents Glenn and Carrie Beesley and her brothers Floyd Beesley, Delmar Beesley and Orville “Bud” Beesley.
Visitation Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to the time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Indiana.
