(North Vernon, IN) – A vehicle that was recently reported stolen from Greensburg has been recovered in Jennings County, and a suspect is in custody.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy spotted the vehicle in the parking lot of a North Vernon convenience store last week and arrested Donald McCullough.
Investigators say McCullough led police on a chase late last month, and they believe he stole the vehicle from Greensburg after his truck was impounded following the pursuit.
McCullough is charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Penal Facility
He was booked into the Jennings County Jail and the vehicle was returned to the owner.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the North Vernon Police Department.
