UPDATE: UTV ordinance tabled for additions

Greensburg, IN —

Update:

The Greensburg City Council once again voted to postpone the vote on allowing UTV’s and side by sides on City streets.  This month’s postponement was due to the city attorney, Chris Stephens not having enough time to update the corrections to the ordinance from the January meeting. We will continue to follow this story.

Original Story:

The ordinance for allowing UTVs and side-by-sides on city streets will get pushed back one more month as it was tabled during the Greensburg City Council meeting on Monday.

Ordinance number 2019-40 was tabled as City Councilmen Jaime Cain and Kevin Fleetwood requested to make changes to discuss adding golf carts to be allowed on city streets at a later time.

The Council also discussed that they would like to increase the registration fee from the suggested $10 to at least $25 per calendar year.
