Utterback Named Top DUI Enforcer

(Indianapolis, IN) – Indiana State Police Trooper Payton Utterback was honored this week by Superintendent Anthony Scott as the top 2024 DUI Enforcement Trooper in the Versailles District.

He received the award at the annual ISP Awards Ceremony in Indianapolis.

Utterback arrested 39 impaired drivers last year. He also had 950 traffic stops, made 174 criminal arrests and investigated 50 crashes.

“Trp. Utterback should be commended for his outstanding efforts in 2024, particularly in the area of DUI enforcement. His dedication and commitment to taking impaired drivers off of our roadways undoubtedly has made our roadways and communities safer,” said ISP-Versailles Post Commander Lt. Paul Adams.
