INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch will be in Indianapolis today.
It’s part of a nationwide Community Policing Tour to strengthen relations between law enforcement and citizens.
Lynch will meet with police officers, prosecutors and community advocates at the Indianapolis Metro Police Department Training Academy and the east district police station.
Lynch was chosen by President Barack Obama and confirmed last April to serve as the nation’s top prosecutor.
Lynch visited Cincinnati in the first phase of the Community Policing Tour last summer.
