RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — US 421 is now closed to thru traffic from the bridge north of Michigan Road to just north of the Jac-Cen-Del school campus, as part of the ongoing pavement and bridge replacement project in the area.
Starting Monday (May 16), crews will work in Napoleon installing new storm sewer pipes and structures near the US 421/State Road 229 intersection.
The curb and gutter and ADA ramps in the area will also be replaced.
Officials say these changes will allow all work south of the bridge to be finished prior to the bridge’s closure on July 5.
