UPDATE: Walnut Street milling. paving underway

Crews have begun the milling and paving process on Walnut Street in Batesville between Boehringer and Kipper streets. If the weather cooperates, the drive on Walnut will be smoother by the end of this week.

BATESVILLE, IN — Paul H. Rohe Company crews on Wednesday started milling and paving Walnut Street in Batesville between Kipper and Boehringer streets.

Walnut is down to one lane, and motorists should slow down and use caution when approaching flaggers and driving in and around the work zone.

The project is expected to be complete by the end of this week, weather permitting.

The drive on Walnut Street has been bumpy since it reopened to vehicle traffic following this summer’s utility replacement project.
