(Decatur County, IN) – A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital after his bike was struck by a vehicle on State Road 3 at County Road 560 North shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office says a motorcycle driven by Christian Arvin of Frankton was northbound on 3 when the driver of a passenger vehicle heading west on 560 North turned left onto State Road 3 hit the right side of the cycle.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, Titus Bowling of Greensburg, told deputies he stopped at the intersection and, upon not seeing any vehicles, proceeded to go south onto 3.
Arvin was taken by Lifeline Helicopter to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
The investigation continues.
Other assisting agencies included the Greensburg Fire Department, Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department and Decatur County EMS.

A medical helicopter was called in, and a landing zone was set up at North Decatur High School.
