UPDATE — The Boil Advisory that was issued Monday for Canaan Utilities water customers in the Versailles and Benham areas has been lifted. The utility says it is no longer necessary for customers in those areas to boil their water.

RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — The Canaan Utilities Corporation has issued a boil advisory for water customers in the Versailles and Benham areas due to a water main break.
The advisory is in effect until further notice.
