Statewide — The Indiana Department of Workforce Development released August 2020 county-wide unemployment numbers this week. Across the state, numbers are once again dropping, and here in Southeastern Indiana, all four regional counties are below the state rate of 6.5%. The state was at 7.9% in July 2020.
- Dearborn County – 5.9%
- Decatur County – 4.8 %
- Franklin County – 4.5%
- Ripley County – 5.0 %
