U.S. 421 restrictions south of Greensburg begin Monday

Greensburg, In. — A contractor for the Indiana Department of Transportation will restrict U.S. 421 to a single lane at the Sand Creek bridge on the south side of Greensburg next Monday, April 23.  Temporary signals at either end of the 111-foot-long concrete structure will control one-direction-at-a-time traffic flow while contracted crews remove and replace the bridge’s superstructure—first on the east half, then the west half.

U.S. 421 traffic will be impacted through October between Tara Road and Wilder Street.

HIS Constructors is completing the work associated with the $1.8 million contract.
