Two new COVID-related deaths reported in Southeastern Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The Indiana Department of Health on Thursday reported 2,326 new COVID-19 cases and 29 deaths, including one each in Ripley and Dearborn counties.

Ripley County reported 15 new cases; Dearborn County had 12, and Franklin and Decatur counties each reported 10 new positive cases.

Ripley, Decatur, and Dearborn counties are all in orange on the state’s metrics map this week, while Franklin County remains in red.

There are 1,838 COVID-19 patients in Indiana hospitals, which is down about 800 since last month’s peak.
