Two local COVID deaths reported as all 92 Indiana counties go Red on state map

STATEWIDE — All 92 Indiana counties are now at an advisory level for COVID-19.

This is the first time that every county has been in the Red category on the Indiana Department of Health’s weekly map.

The levels are determined by each county’s seven-day test positivity rate plus weekly cases per 100-thousand residents.

State health officials on Wednesday announced 16,502 new COVID-19 cases and 118 deaths.

Locally, Dearborn County reported 99 new cases; Ripley County had 64 cases and one death; Franklin County had 46 cases, and Decatur County reported 42 cases and one death.
