Franklin County, In. — A Friday crash in Franklin County injured two Cincinnati residents on U.S. 52 near Little Cedar Road.
A report from the sheriff’s department says Rebecka N. Holmes, 18, was westbound on U.S. 52 going around a sweeping curve when her vehicle began to spin. Holmes overcorrected, drove off the north side of the roadway hitting an embankment and rolled onto the driver’s side.
Holmes and her passenger, Sarah Holmes, 48, has to be extricated and were transported to Mercy West Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio. The extent of their injuries is not known.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, volunteer fire departments from Brookville and Cedar Grove and Franklin County EMS responded to the scene.
