Batesville, In. —Batesville high school students, Madeline Greene and Coleman Jennewein have named as finalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program. The pair are the 23rd and 24th Batesville High School students to be nominated and 15,000 student-nominees nationwide.
Batesville High School principal Andy Allen says both will compete for 7,500 scholarships that total more than $32 million.
The next list of finalists will be announced in April.
