AURORA, Ind. — Two Dearborn County residents have been arrested after police say they attacked a woman.
According to police, Daniel Backus, 46, of Lawrenceburg, and Stephanie L. Horn, 39, of Greendale, both attacked the woman at her home in Aurora.
The victim told police that the 2 knocked on her door, and Backus grabbed her by her hair and pulled her outside.
She also told police that Horn bounced her head off the curb, while Backus was yelling to kill her.
Police say the woman had multiple cuts and lacerations to her hands and face, and was treated by paramedics on scene, but refused to be taken to the hospital.
Her family later took her after becoming dizzy and lightheaded. According to Police, they tried to contact both Horn and Backus after the report, but Backus’ phone had been disconnected.
Horn told police that the woman had threatened her sister in a text message, and she told Backus to stop at the woman’s house.
Horn and Backus were arrested on charges of Battery causing Injury.
