The Greensburg Pirates played host to the Twisters of Oldenburg on Saturday as game 1 of a double header.
The Pirates fell to the Twisters 1-0 after a late first half goal from the Twisters decided the game.
Despite Oldenburg being in possession most of the game, Greensburg’s defense held tough through strong play from Trevin White and Joseph Pacilio. Senior goalie Drew Rieger recorded 9 saves as Greensburg fought tough through all 80 minutes.
The Pirates will be back in action on the road this Tuesday, taking on Southwestern.
