VERSAILLES, Ind. – The Southeastern Indiana Independent Living Center will host a free audio conference focused on accommodating individuals with environmental sensitivities.
The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday from 2-3:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Organizers say the conference will focus on the topic of chemical, electrical, and enivornmental sensitivities or intolerances.
Presenters from the Independent Living Research Living Research Utilization and National Center for Environmental Health Strategies will address the nature of these disabilities and examine federal recognition and policy development.
They will discuss how to accomadate people struggling with illness by reducing or eliminationing environmental barriers in housing, healthcare and employment.
