Tree City working to get remote workers, highly-paid pros to “Make My Move”

Greensburg Mayor Joshua Marsh

GREENSBURG, IN — The City of Greensburg and Decatur County are drawing interest from highly-paid professionals who would relocate to the area as part of the “Make My Move” initiative.

“Those who work remotely, live outside the State of Indiana who have a pretty high income, and they can keep their remote job and then move to our community as a way to attract top-tier talent and a diversified workforce,” said Greensburg Mayor Joshua Marsh. “Part of our incentive package is relocation assistance and reimbursement.”

The Mayor says the program has received a lot of interest since its recent rollout.

“We’ve had a great response and we’re incredibly excited to be on the cutting edge of this movement to attract individuals to the community who don’t live in the State of Indiana,” Marsh said.

Other perks for those who move to the Tree City as part of the program include volunteers making dinner for the transplants, tickets to the large community events, and “Grandparents on Demand” for those who want to go on a date night and need someone to babysit their children.
