Greensburg, In. — After a one year break the Tree City Fall Festival returns to downtown Greensburg September 15 and 16. This year the festival will highlight non-profits in Decatur County.
The festival includes a cookie baking and chili making contest, a lip sync competition, Little Miss and Mr. Tree City, Miss Tree City and the Herb Kohler Memorial Parade. Kohler was the chairman of the festival for the five years of operation.
The Herb Kohler Memorial Parade has a total of 50 entries-with a twist. About half of the entries will be humorous in nature. Some of those entries are “The Red Neck Yatch Club” and a “Precision Lawnmower Drill Team.”
On Friday night the main stage will be dedicated to two other founding members David Begely and Art Powers. Friday night entertainment includes a 50’s and 60’s tribute with the Van Dells.
