Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica in Versailles until 7 tonight

Versailles, IN — A 50% detailed replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I and the three crypts that hold the remains of the unknown soldiers from World War II, the Korean War, and the now-empty crypt of the Vietnam War is on display in Versailles until 7 o’clock tonight in the Tyson Activity Center. The exhibit, which was moved indoors because of inclement weather, is free and open to the public. The event is presented by The Exchange Club of Rome, GA, and sponsored by the Ross’ Run Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Versailles American Legion Post 173, and the Ripley County Tourism Bureau.
