(Batesville, IN) – Here’s your chance to push a fundraising effort past the finish line.

Sunday, April 10 is the final day to donate to the Batesville Mayor’s Youth Council’s crowdfunding campaign for Project Park Pizazz.

It’s part of the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority’s (IHCDA) My Community, My Vision initiative.

The students want to resurface the basketball courts at Liberty Park to improve safety and add paint to make the courts more inviting.

The project price tag is $50,000, and the youth council needs to raise $25,000, which would be matched dollar for dollar through the IHCDA’s CreatINg Places program.

Nearly $23,000 had been raised as of Friday morning.
