Tiger Football Coach And Hall Of Famer Dick Meador Passes Away

Legendary Indiana Football Hall of Fame Coach Dick Meador of Lawrenceburg passed away over the Weekend at the age of 83.
 
Meador led The Tigers to The Class A Football State Crowns in 1975 and 1978 as well as a Runner-up in 1976. The Tigers won 11 EIAC Titles during his time and won Coach of the Year in ’75 and ’78. Meador’s teams had eight undefeated seasons winning 59 games in a row.
 
In addition to his Hall of Fame coaching career, he was a trendsetter in developing players and programs through a year round weight and conditioning programs.
