Batesville, IN—The 7th annual Handbags 4 Hope in Batesville is fast approaching but it’s not too late to reserve a seat or ticket. The fundraiser for Safe Passage is Saturday, Aug. 10 at a new venue, the Batesville High School cafeteria. The purse auction features over 70 new and gently used purses, from Michael Kors and Vera Bradley to Gucci, Coach, Calvin Klein and more. There is also a raffle table, (chances are $5 or 3 for $10)with a chance to choose a purse or gift certificate.
Tickets are $8 reserved or $10 at the door. Tables of up to 6 can be reserved. Contact Safe Passage at 812 933 1990 or go online to the website for more information. A salad luncheon and desserts, along with a domestic violence speaker, will be part of the program. The event is sponsored by the Community Church/Batesville.
