NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Three people were arrested on multiple drug-related charges in North Vernon.
According to police, Colten D. Halbig, 22, of Vevay, John O. Galliher, 19, of Aurora, and Ryan Bushorn, 20, of Aurora, were all arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Police say officers responded to a phone tip about possible drug activity in a car.
Officers found the vehicle and stopped it after the driver committed a moving violation.
During the stop, the officer requested assistance from a K-9 officer, which alerted the officer to the scent of an illegal drug in the car.
Officers searched the car and found several pipes and marijuana.
