Milan High School, Batesville High School, and North Decatur Jr./Sr. High were all recently named in the Best High Schools Nationally for 2020 by US News and World Report and the top 100 in the state.
U.S. News ranked approximately 17,790 public high schools out of more than 24,000 reviewed. This is the count of public high schools that had a 12th-grade enrollment of 15 or greater or otherwise had sufficient enrollment in other high school grades during the 2017-2018 school year to be analyzed. Each of these schools received this designation based on how well students performed academically, their exceptional graduation rate, and how well the school prepared students for college based on AP testing.
