Thomas Matthew Creighton, age 65, of Versailles, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Tom was born on January 6, 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Warren E. Creighton and Catherine M. (Murphy) Creighton.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Tom worked as a dedicated ironworker for many years. He enjoyed the quiet comforts of home — spending time reading, watching movies, and relaxing with his favorite films. A big Clint Eastwood fan, his all-time favorite movie was Gran Torino, which captured his heart with its story of strength, redemption, and quiet resolve.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his sons, Joel Creighton, Glen Tyler, Evan Tyler, Richard Weise, and Dean Creighton; his brothers, Joseph Creighton and Jimmy Creighton; and his sisters, Catherine Martinez and Sheila Regal. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Creighton.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Home.
