Thomas James White, 62, of St. Paul, passed away on January 6, 2024. He was born on November 26, 1961 in Greensburg, Indiana the son of James C. and Pauline (Fowl) White. Tom was a 1980 graduate of North Decatur High School and a 1982 graduate of Ivy Tech. On March 17, 1984 he married Lori Ann Clark and together they had three sons: Bryan, Matt and Jeffrey. Tom worked for Printpack for 18 years and was currently working at Douglas Farms. He was involved in many things as his sons grew and he loved helping them. You might have seen him as a 4-H Cattle Volunteer or even as a team bus driver for their sporting events at North Decatur High School. Tom also was a sub bus driver for North, and he was a member of the Decatur County Power of the Past, the First Christian Church of Greensburg, and the Decatur County Cattleman Association where he was involved in the Decatur County Cattle Battle.
Survivors include: Wife, Lori White; Sons, Bryan (Rebecca) White, Matt (Lindsay-Marie) White and Jeffrey White; Grandchildren, Rylee White, Makayla White, Lainey Marie White, Kinsley White and Mateo White; Sisters, Rita Grimes and Debbie (Kurt) Stuecher; Brother in Laws, Lowell Clark, John (Patricia) Clark, Tim Baker and Tom (Debbie) Baker. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church, 425 N. Broadway Street, Greensburg, Indiana. Pastors Ray Sweet and Danny Wolford will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Decatur County Cattle Battle.
