Terry W. Cook, age 71, passed away peacefully Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Terry was born November 16, 1951, in Connersville, Indiana the son of William H. & Kathleen R. (Murphy) Cook. Terry drove a gravel truck for many years, and retired from Sacksteder’s Interiors in New Trenton, Indiana.
Terry enjoyed playing bingo, watching old TV shows, and most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Karen Lake, and their daughter, Amanda Cook, both of New Trenton, Indiana; sisters, Sharon Grubb and Bonnie Stewart of Brookville, Indiana; as well as many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ayala, brothers Marvin Cook & Gary Cook, brother-in-laws, Glenn Grubb, Polo Ayala, Mark Stewart; sister-in-law, Janice Cook, and a niece Sherry Lucas who died April 22, 2023.
Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 4047 U.S. Highway 52, New Trenton, Indiana.
Pastor Steve Messinger, of Smyrna Baptist Church, will officiate the Funeral on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 12:00 P.M., at Smyrna Baptist Church. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
