Terry Horning

Terry M. Horning, of Indianapolis, was born on January 11, 1947 in Connersville, the son of Joseph and Christina Grizzel Horning.  He married Jewel L. Carey on April 17, 1980 in Pendleton, Indiana and she survives.  Terry was self-employed as a mechanic and enjoyed spending time with his family.  On Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 71, he passed away at his residence.

 

Those surviving who will cherish Terry’s memory include his wife Jewel Horning; children, Alice (Cameron) Coyle of Carthage, James Pollitt of Indianapolis, and Randy (Vicky) Pollitt of Liberty; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Lee Morgan of Union City, and Patricia Gardner of Richmond; two brothers, Tom Horning of Connersville, and Fred Horning of Muncie, and a favorite nephew, Justin Nolen of London, KY.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death a son, Terrill Michael Cartsinger; a grandson, Shadow Khanthamany; two brothers; Gayle and Donny Horning, and four sisters, Valeria Thompkins, Judy Pursell, Andrea Potter, and Bonnie Huddleson.

 

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Chris Lovett of Cross Pointe Bikers Church will officiate the funeral service at 1 p.m. and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
