Teresa L. Busching, 70, passed away peacefully at her home on October 2, 2026.
Teresa was born on June 28, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Philip and Ivy (Furnish) Schuler.
Teresa retired from Metal Working Group. She was a woman of many talents and entrepreneurial spirit, having owned several craft shops and, most recently, a booth at the Rising Sun Marketplace. She had a special talent for baking and decorating cookies and even operated a business selling her beautifully decorated creations. Teresa also owned the Tree House Restaurant, which she named Busch Hogs, as well as Busch Liquor Store.
She enjoyed antiques and was a devoted Beatles fan. Above all, Teresa treasured time spent with her family. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and cheering them on.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Ivy Schuler; her great-granddaughter, Paisley Lack; and her brother, Philip “Peanut” Schuler.
She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Lack and Savanah McDaniel; her significant other, Rick Terrill; grandchildren, Shawn Lack Jr., Austin Lack (Sierra Herzner), Wesley McDaniel, and Ivy Lynn McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Shawn Lack III, Kyzer Ray Lack, Audriella Lack, Aiyla Lack, and Prezleigh Lack; and sisters, Darlene Schuler and Beverly Cochran.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sunman Legion on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 12 pm – 4 pm.
