Batesville, In. — Registration is open now for the “Tall Cop Workshop” presented by the Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville and the Southeastern Indiana YMCA. The event will be held at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA in Batesville on November 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Officer Jermaine Galloway will use more than 120 visual aids to raise awareness about what is going on in our community. Alcohol, alcoholic energy drinks, e-cigarettes, drug-related music and groups, youth party tendencies, alcohol and drug concealment methods, party games, inhalants, synthetic drugs, non-traditional alcoholic drinks and new technology will all be discussed.
The interactive workshop is for educators, prevention providers, police, treatment counselors and probation officers.
