Columbus, IN — Columbus Police Department (CPD) officers arrested a man after he reportedly stabbed a woman multiple times during an argument earlier this morning.
Shortly before 3 am, CPD officers responded to a residence on Woodlane Drive in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, they located a woman who was stabbed multiple times. She was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
During the course of the investigation, the officers arrested Gregory S. Taskey, 37, of Columbus, who was also at the residence. He was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was charged on an allegation of Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
The investigation in this case is ongoing.
